Welcome to our Annual Meeting of Shareholders. I'm Kathleen Taylor, and I have the privilege of being Chair of the Board of Royal Bank of Canada.

I'm pleased that so many of you could join us here in Halifax today and many more with us on the webcast. We're delighted to return to our roots to mark where RBC was incorporated 150 years ago as the Merchants' Bank of Halifax.

As notice of the meeting has been duly given and a quorum is present, I call the meeting to order.
