Shareholders, (foreign language) dear guests and friends of Swisscom, ladies and gentlemen, extraordinary circumstances require extraordinary measures. Currently, the corona pandemic is dominating the world. As you all know, on March 16, 2020, the Federal Council, which is the Swiss government, issued Ordinance 2 on measures to combat the coronavirus.

Due to the so-called extraordinary situation, we had to declare that today's Annual General Meeting must be held without the physical presence of our shareholders. We deeply regret this measure. However, it is vital to protect the health of our shareholders. And current circumstances left us no other choice. Instead of the Hallenstadion, we conduct this meeting here at our headquarters, and we are broadcasting today's AGM live on the Internet in German, French and English.
