Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to the 2021 Annual General Meeting of Westpac Banking Corporation. My name is Tim Hartin, and I am Westpac's Company Secretary.

I would first like to acknowledge the traditional owners of the land from where I speak today, the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, and pay my respects to their elders, past, present and emerging.

This AGM is being conducted as a virtual meeting, allowing shareholders the opportunity to participate either online or via telephone.

Before I introduce your Chairman, there are a few procedural matters to explain before we formally begin the meeting. This includes the technology being used to conduct today's meeting and the procedures for shareholders to ask questions and to vote.
