International Business Machines Corp at Citi Global Technology Conference Transcript
Good afternoon, and thank you so much for joining us here for day 1 of Citi's Global Technology Conference here in New York City. My name is Jim Suva, and I'm the IT hardware and technology supply chain analyst. Joining me on stage is also our business services and IT consulting analyst, Ashwin Shirvaikar, to the far right of the seats.
Here at this keynote, we're very pleased to have IBM. In doing so, we're not only pleased, but we're also blessed and honored to have Arvind Krishna. He's the SVP of Cloud & Cognitive Software, also known as the guy who's integrating Red Hat. This is very important because this is a major acquisition and quite transformative for IBM. This is meant to be an interactive discussion, which we have prepared some questions to start things and get it rolling. Again, we're going to focus mostly on the Cloud & Cognitive Solutions and specifically a lot on Red Hat.
