Algoma Central Corp Annual Shareholders Meeting Transcript
Good morning, everyone, and welcome to the annual general meeting of shareholders of Algoma Central Corporation. I am Hap Stephen, an Algoma Director and the Chair of the audit committee of Algoma Central Corporation. Our Board Chairman, Duncan Jackman, is a bit under the weather today, so he has asked me to chair this meeting.
Duncan is, however, in attendance at the meeting and would be available for questions if required. I'm accompanied on this audio webcast by Gregg Ruhl, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Algoma; Peter Winkley, the company's Chief Financial Officer; and Wes Newton, our Corporate Secretary.
Each year, we consider the appropriate format for our annual general meeting of shareholders. And similar to last year, we have taken into account the ongoing impact of COVID-19, which has heightened public health and travel concerns for in-person annual meetings.
