Good morning, everyone and welcome to our first half results. And this meeting, I'm Seamus Keating. I'm the CEO of FD Technologies and I'm joined today as usual by Ryan Preston, our group CFO an Reddy who is the CEO of our KX of our KX business.
We've had a strong first half, both strategically and operationally.
The FD divestment was a critical step in the strategy that we set out back in March this year, that strategy to create high growth KX software business with a strong balance sheet, fully funded to go and execute on its plan.
We're getting an attractive price for the first derivative business from that would be a great owner for the business and that will be a great partner for KX. Going forward.
The second step that we announced earlier this year was the combination of our smallest business MRP with a business in the US called contention. And with that combination, it's been rebranded to FARO IQ during the year, the the demand generation market that that business has been in,
