Microsoft (MSFT, Financial) denied claims that it is using customer data from its Microsoft 365 applications to train artificial intelligence (AI) models. This clarification came after some users on social media suggested that the company's "connected experiences" feature was being utilized for AI model training.

Microsoft stated that these claims are inaccurate and emphasized that the "connected experiences" feature is designed to support collaboration and cloud storage functionalities. This feature is not related to how Microsoft trains its large language models.
