The largest online platform, Amazon (AMZN, Financial), revealed the launch of the program for international exports and delivery of Indian sellers, labeled as Sending Seller Exports. This is part of Amazon's global partnership plan to boost import and export business opportunities across borders for SMEs in India.
The company announced Export Navigator, a unified platform that provides guidance on export regulation for shipments. It will help sellers and buyers with documentation, help sellers understand the legal requirements in International trading, and ease the export process.
By September of next year, the specialty postal service, under the expanded SEND program, will enlist three additional carriers to manage air and ocean shipments from India to key international markets in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany. This integration brings Indian exporters several logistical solutions depending on the contexts of the equipment owners.
Amazon is also including its Warehousing and Distribution (AWD) service in the new Strategic Early Negotiated Delivery (SEND) program. As a low-cost bulk storage space, it is strategically advantageous to exporters as it might allow them to cut overhead expenses while offering efficient, quick delivery services.
It is extremely affordable, with the best pricing compared to other similar programs. It has Amazon shipping amenities and is all contained in Amazon Seller Central. Forums are friendly places where sellers can book, monitor their shipments, and process payments, thus making the shipment process seamless.
These measures are in sync with the increasing global demand for Indian products and measures to strengthen the Indian export sector. Broadening the scope of international operations access to foreign markets, Amazon's new SEND program and Export Navigator tools are set to help Indian exporters level up.
