Elliott Investment Management has promoted Samantha Algaze to partner, marking the first time a woman has held this position at the firm. Algaze joined Elliott in 2013 and has been involved in major deals, including those with Caesars Entertainment and the former McAfee cybersecurity division, Magenta Buyer.

In addition to Algaze's promotion, John Pike and Pat Frayne have been elevated to the management committee. Pike has been active in Elliott's advocacy campaigns, such as its recent engagement with Southwest Airlines, whereas Frayne has focused on structured credit investments and currency and interest rate trading.

Following these personnel changes, Elliott will have 15 partners and a 12-member management committee. Founded by Paul Singer (Trades, Portfolio) in 1977, Elliott Investment Management is renowned as one of the world's leading activist investors, currently managing around $70 billion in assets.
