Boeing is reportedly considering selling its subsidiary Jeppesen as part of a strategy to reduce its $58 billion debt load. The aerospace giant is currently drafting a list of assets that could be divested to address its financial challenges.

Inside sources reveal that Boeing is in discussions with an advisor about the potential sale of Jeppesen. The move has already attracted interest from potential buyers, including private equity firms and other corporations.

The estimated sale price for Jeppesen could exceed $6 billion, contingent on market demand and comparable assets. The divestiture process may commence as early as the first half of 2025. However, it is important to note that Boeing's asset evaluation is still ongoing, and the company might ultimately decide to retain Jeppesen.

Jeppesen specializes in aviation navigation, and any strategic decision regarding its sale will significantly impact Boeing's financial roadmap. The company spokesperson has declined to comment on the potential sale.
