Following Donald Trump's victory in the presidential election, JPMorgan has adjusted its forecast for the Federal Reserve's rate path. The investment bank now anticipates that the Fed will begin quarterly rate cuts starting in March. According to economist Michael Feroli, the Fed is expected to cut rates by 25 basis points in the current month and December, continuing quarterly reductions until the federal funds rate reaches 3.5%.
Feroli indicated that Trump's influence over reshaping the Federal Reserve may take time to manifest fully.
