LaBauve, Jr. as the company's new Chief Accounting Officer, effective November 11, 2024. This strategic appointment marks a significant transition in the company's financial leadership, as Mr. LaBauve will take over the role of principal accounting officer from John C. Barichivich III.

Mr. LaBauve, aged 58, brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having served as the Chief Financial Officer of Albemarle's Energy Storage business unit since November 2019. His extensive tenure with the company began in 1990, during which he has held various key positions within the finance function, including Vice President, Corporate Controller, and Chief Accounting Officer from February 2014 to November 2019.

Mr. LaBauve's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Louisiana State University, and he is a certified public accountant (CPA) in Louisiana since 1990. His appointment is expected to further strengthen Albemarle's financial operations and support its strategic growth initiatives.

There are no family relationships between Mr. LaBauve and any of Albemarle's executive officers or directors, and no transactions involving Mr. LaBauve require disclosure under regulatory guidelines.
