In the first half year of 2024, we have been able to improve the underlying profitability in all of our segments. Our efforts in technical excellence, which we have started by the end of last year have already contributed to this result.
It has allowed us to compensate for the higher net cat burden which we experienced in Switzerland in the month of June. Overall, this leads us to an underlying earning result, which is on the same level as the already very strong this half-year 2023.
The capital position of Helvetia Group has further improved during the first half year of 2024. The S&P rating of A+ has confirmed that. It's setup of Helvetia and the positive effect of diversification that have contributed to it
