Over the course of 2019, management continued to sharpen its focus on some of the faster growth areas within Asset Servicing, delivering a more holistic approach to technology and maintaining strong position clearing services. While interest rates have obviously been challenging, BK's solid expense management in 2019 in accelerating share repurchases, definitely helped mute some of those top line issues on earnings.
