Research firm Attest surveyed 2,000 prospective Black Friday shoppers earlier this month and 44 percent of them admitted that they plan to integrate ChatGPT and other integrate AI tools to uncover deals before hitting retail stores.
In addition, 48 percent already used AI tools to help them researching products before the purchase. And nearly 40% showed a high level of trust to AI tools.
