Were the Bitcoin buyers just flushed out?

I'm not the biggest fan of #bitcoin or #crypto .

I think it's pretty much driven by pure speculation, and it's very hard to value exactly how much one of the token's are worth.

These views are well known.

I think the market will continue to drive up with speculation, and then dive as people head for the exits. Over and over...

However, what I didn't expect was what happened on BitMEX the other day?

Did you see that Bitcoin had a flash crash from 66,000USD to 8,900USD on this platform?

Was the platform flushing out all of the longs?

Or was it a big player dumping?

What do you think?

Whatever the reason- it just makes me convinced that this market isn't for me.
