XPeng (XPEV, Financials) delivered 23,917 electric vehicles in October, marking a record monthly high and reflecting a 20% year-over-year increase, the company announced.

This mark comprises more than 10,000 XPENG MONA M03 deliveries for the second running month. Representing a 21% rise from the previous year, total deliveries for the first ten months of 2024 came at 122,498 vehicles.

October saw the company report that the advanced driver-assistance system for urban driving, XNGP, had an active user rate of 86%. At a tech workshop on October 24, XPeng also presented AI-driven updates to its ADAS—more especially, on its P7+ model—where it unveiled its AI Tianji XOS 5.4.0 operating system. Standard option for the XPENG P7+ will be this AI-powered ADAS, so representing a major advance towards mass-market autonomous driving.

Furthermore, XPeng is the only Chinese manufacturer providing urban ADAS that runs without LiDAR or HD maps, which it says lowers costs and speeds autonomous adoption in the Chinese market.

In October, XPeng also entered the United Arab Emirates market, introducing its G9 and G6 models in Dubai, so broadening its international profile. The company has unveiled its electric cars in Israel, Egypt, Jordan, and Lebanon among other MENA nations.

Recently, XPeng said it will hold its 2024 AI Day event on November 6, 2024, to highlight developments in artificial intelligence and autonomous driving systems. The company's creative in AI mobility has also been noted on Fortune China's "Tech 50" and "China 500" lists.
