Oakmark Intl Small Cap Profile
Under normal market conditions, the Oakmark International Small Cap Fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in the stocks of "small cap companies." The fund defines a small cap company as one whose market capitalization is no greater than the largest market capitalization of any company included in the S&P EPAC (Europe Pacific Asia Composite) Small Cap Index.
Oakmark Intl Small Cap Investing Philosophy
Oakmark's fund managers are long-term investors. The fund seeks growing businesses that are managed to benefit their shareholders. Oakmark purchases securities only when the security is priced substantially below the fund’s estimate of intrinsic value. After purchase, the fund patiently waits for the gap between price and intrinsic value to close.
